USED MOTOR OIL

 

Motor oil and filter recycling is important to protect the water table and the health of our community.  Many immigrant and Spanish-speaking communities do not have access to information on where and how to recycle.

 

For those of you in the City of San Francisco who change your own motor oil, or know people that do, you have several options:

• If you have under 5 gallons, you can take it to any of the sites on the SFEnvironment list here.

• If you have between 5 and 20 gallons, call 415-330-1405

• Drop off up to 15 gallons yourself at SF Recycling (501 Tunnel Road, www.sfrecycling.com)
